If you’re wondering what this is about, Anonymous has been waging an internet war against the Church of Scientology, a dangerous cult which is basically a pyramid scheme hiding behind a religious label. Anon has been DDoSing their websites, black faxing, e-mail bombing, prank calling, and raiding prominent Co$ locations in an effort to dismantle the “church”. The above video is a parody of the initial message issued by Anonymous. This campaign, known as Operation Chanology, has been recieving media coverage, including news reports on television. ilu anonymous
Some time last year, I was introduced to the phenomenon of Youtube Poop. Several of these became popular favorites amongst myself and my friends, such as “Gutsman’s Ass” and “Over 9000!!”. But some of my more personal favorites just happened to be by a guy who liked to use footage from classic vidya game cartoons like The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, the Super Mario Bros. cartoons, and the Phillips CD-iZelda “game”.

According to Penny Arcade, Gamespot has been upset at Gerstmann as of late for “long-standing problems with his reviewing ‘tone’”. And a story at Rock, Paper, Shotgun explains that Gerstmann “wasn’t the most popular man with the CNET owners” - CNET Networks is the corporation which owns Gamespot, GameFAQs, and many other sites. It also goes without saying that many gamers don’t care for the guy since he tends to always give their favorite games bad reviews. Continue Reading »
