As you can see, I changed the appearance of the site. Spent a couple of hours modifying the theme to my liking. Still need to change the image at the top of the page. There’s an issue with the Search Results page which keeps screwing up the width of the page columns and the line breaks. I also can’t seem to figure out how to get rid of the white rectangle that appears if you hover over a link.
Since I’m going to be spending the weekend with my nose in the books to prepare for next week’s Finals, I’ll have to take a break from this stuff. But soon I will have some more content, specifically on the Projects page, like my game and whatever else.

Whoa, I just heard about this earlier today.
Apprently, the computer store CompUSA is going out of business and closing up all of its shops. . . all 103 of them. Yeah, I don’t really understand that number - there’s only 103 CompUSAs in America? Is it just a regional thing, like Chik Fil A?
The stores will close after the holidays as the result of a sale to another company, Gordon Brothers Group. I’ve never really shopped at CompUSA, but I think I will try to take advantage of the upcoming going-out-of-business sales.

Big deal, right?
If you had gone to GameSpot’s website anytime over the past couple weeks, you might have noticed how the entire front page was decorated with advertisements for Eidos’s game Kane and Lynch. I use “might have” loosely, as GameSpot’s method of advertising an up-coming major title is about as shameless and ugly as you can get, its only redeeming factor is the fact that it’s generally only on the front page.

Jeff Gerstmann, GameSpot’s Editorial Director and resident troll/reviewer recently reviewed Kane and Lynch. Gerstmann is notorious for being pretty harsh, especially to majorly-anticipated titles. He was the one who gave Twilight Princess the infamous 8.8 rating on the Wii. Could he just enjoy playing Devil’s Advocate? Maybe. According to Penny Arcade, Gamespot has been upset at Gerstmann as of late for “long-standing problems with his reviewing ‘tone’”. And a story at Rock, Paper, Shotgun explains that Gerstmann “wasn’t the most popular man with the CNET owners” - CNET Networks is the corporation which owns Gamespot, GameFAQs, and many other sites. It also goes without saying that many gamers don’t care for the guy since he tends to always give their favorite games bad reviews.
